Khosla led $320m round for AI firm General Intuition
New York-based General Intuition, a startup building AI models that learn to act in virtual and physical environments, said on June 25 it raised US$320 million at a US$2.3 billion valuation.
Khosla Ventures led the round, which will fund more computing capacity, pretraining for the next version of its model, and wider application programming interface access.
Total disclosed funding now stands at US$454 million, after a US$134 million seed round in October 2025.
The company was spun out of Medal, a platform for sharing video game clips. General Intuition has said its training data includes gameplay footage and button-press records from about 2 billion videos a year uploaded by 10 million monthly active users.
General Intuition said that data could teach spatial reasoning that transfers from games to physical systems such as robotic arms, drones, and autonomous vehicles.
The startup said it has a few customers in gaming, simulation, and robotics.
