Kaya Founders expands portfolio with five startup investments
Kaya Founders, a Philippine-based venture capital firm, has kicked off 2025 with three new investments and two follow-on investments, despite a slower funding environment for early-stage startups in Southeast Asia.
The new investments include LenderLink, a fintech providing alternative credit data; ProTech, an insurtech focused on device insurance; and Foodoo, a B2B platform for food suppliers and buyers.
Kaya also joined pre-series A rounds for Sourcy, an AI-powered B2B product recommendation engine, and Edge Tutor, an online tutoring outsourcing firm.
The firm manages two funds: the Zero to One Fund for pre-seed investments and the One to Ten Fund for startups scaling from seed to series A.
Its 2025 focus includes AI-powered B2B platforms, tech-enabled B2C models for the Philippine middle class, and embedded credit solutions for SMEs and consumers.
Kaya Founders has now backed over 50 companies across ecommerce, financial services, and agriculture.
