Kasagi Labo commits $10m toward anime productions

Singapore-based venture studio Kasagi Labo has announced a US$10 million commitment toward anime productions.

This commitment comes after a US$12 million fundraising round with support from Burda Principal Investments.

The sci-fi adventure series “Special Kid Factory” will be the first major project under this investment.

It is co-produced with NAZ Studio, famous for its work on “ID: Invaded” and “Sabikui Bisco.”

Update: (November 27, 6:09 p.m. SGT): This article was updated to clarify that Kasagi Labo announced its commitment toward anime productions, instead of making a new investment.
