Kaia, Line Next to launch stablecoin super-app in Asia

Kaia DLT Foundation and Line Next, the Web3 arm of Line, are set to launch a stablecoin-focused Web3 app called Project Unify later this year.

The app will be available as both a standalone service and a Mini Dapp on Line Next, offering stablecoin payments, remittances, and access to Web3 apps.

Unify aims to support stablecoins tied to currencies such as the US dollar, Japanese yen, Thai baht, Korean won, Indonesian rupiah, Philippine peso, Malaysian ringgit, and Singapore dollar.

The companies said users will be able to deposit, send, and spend stablecoins, with additional features like paybacks and access to over 100 Web3 apps.

Project Unify is scheduled to launch its beta version within 2025 on web and mobile platforms.
