Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin launches New Glenn rocket

Blue Origin launched its New Glenn rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Thursday.

The approximately 98-meter-tall rocket carried equipment for telecommunication tests into space.

The New Glenn rocket is designed for cost reduction through the recovery and reuse of its first-stage booster.

However, the booster was lost during its descent and could not be recovered.

This rocket can carry payloads of up to 45 tons, indicating Blue Origin’s intention to expand its operations in the space industry.

This launch marks a significant step in Blue Origin’s efforts to scale its space business operations.
