JD Industrials, JD.com’s industrial supply arm, signed a cooperation agreement with AMD on October 13, according to JD Blackboard.

The companies plan to combine industrial AI models with computing hardware. The agreement covers computing capacity, the global rollout of industrial applications, and sales channels.

JD Industrials and AMD also plan to jointly develop AI terminal products and applications for industrial settings, including factories, workshops, and edge-computing environments.

The report did not identify specific hardware. The material also did not say how China’s manufacturing AI policies or US export controls on advanced semiconductors affected the agreement.
