Venture capital investment in Southeast Asia tech startups hit US$1.4 billion in over 110 rounds in 2025, according to Tracxn.

More than 200 VC firms participated, with Iterative leading 14 rounds, surpassing Antler as the region’s most active investor.

Seed and early-stage deals fell compared to last year, while late-stage rounds raised US$670 million from seven deals, including three mega rounds.

Fintech, enterprise applications, and enterprise infrastructure were the top funded sectors, with enterprise infrastructure overtaking blockchain for third place.

Singapore startups received the most funding at US$1.1 billion, followed by Vietnam and Indonesia, with 90 local and over 100 foreign VC firms participating.
