Israeli AI startup Unframe raises $50m in series B
Israel-founded AI startup Unframe is raising US$50 million in a series B round led by Highland Europe.
Existing investors also joined the round, which follows a US$30 million raise announced in April 2025 and would bring Unframe’s total funding since 2024 to US$100 million.
Founded by former Noname Security executives, Unframe has about 130 employees across Israel, California, and Berlin. The company has signed US$100 million in contracts with average terms of three to five years and will use the new capital for hiring.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
What Unframe’s multi-year contract milestone says about its business
- The US$100 million figure covers contracts signed across several years, rather than yearly revenue booked by Unframe 1.
- Because these deals usually last three to five years, that implies about US$20 million to US$33 million in annual contract value. It offers a rough yardstick against annual recurring revenue, though the two metrics differ 2.
- Unframe lands larger deals by serving as a delivery partner that builds customized, production-ready AI systems in days, instead of relying mainly on software licenses 1.
- Outcome-based pricing supports this model. Large companies can try a working solution before they commit budget, which lowers adoption risk 3.
Why demand is shifting toward AI results and deployment
- This funding round backs Unframe’s view that large companies want customized, production-ready AI that can go live quickly, ahead of broader tools that fail to reach real business use 1.
- Many businesses can spot AI use cases yet struggle to launch live systems. That gap creates room for vendors willing to handle implementation risk and technical complexity 1.
- The model raises pressure on traditional AI platform vendors, since customers often still handle much of the integration and customization work themselves 3.
- As AI use in business matures, buyers are putting more weight on return on investment and time to value. Unframe says ROI matters in purchase decisions 4.
