Israel’s Centrical raises $39m for workforce software
Centrical, an Israel-based software company that helps enterprises train, manage, and evaluate sales and customer service workers, has raised US$39 million in a series D round led by Leeds Illuminate and Kingfisher Investment.
JVP, its largest shareholder, and existing investors also joined the round.
The financing was completed at a valuation of several hundred million dollars, bringing Centrical’s total funding to about US$100 million.
The company previously raised US$32 million in March 2021 in a round led by Intel Capital and JVP.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Gal Rimon, Centrical said the new funds will support product development and sales and marketing in the US.
In recent years, the company shifted its focus to large enterprises and cut its workforce to about 100 employees from a peak of 180. Customers include Deutsche Telekom, Samsung, DHL, and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Leeds Illuminate is part of an investment fund family focused on workforce development and other knowledge-industry businesses.
Centrical said it has adapted its platform to help organizations measure the performance of both human employees and AI agents.
