Israeli video tech firm said to explore sale or merger

Kaltura, an Israeli video technology company traded on Nasdaq, is said to be exploring a possible sale or merger.

The estimated deal value is between US$400 million and US$500 million, higher than its current market capitalization of US$350 million.

However, this valuation is notably below the US$1.24 billion the company was valued at during its IPO in July 2021.

Since October 2024, Kaltura’s stock has risen 84%, driven by the introduction of new AI tools and the acquisition of high-revenue clients like Deloitte and Oracle.
