Team8 Capital, the venture capital arm of Israel-based venture group Team8, has closed a US$265 million third fund and raised more than US$100 million for follow-on investments.

That brings its assets under management to nearly US$2 billion across eight funds since 2014.

The firm said the new fund began deploying capital before its close, making nine investments over the past year while fundraising was underway.

It has also already recorded an exit. Palo Alto Networks reportedly acquired cybersecurity startup Koi Security for US$400 million in February 2026.

Team8 said the fund will back seed and series A software startups in cybersecurity, software infrastructure and AI, fintech, and digital health.

Managing partner Sarit Firon said Infosys, the India-based IT services company, invested in the fund for the first time.
