Israeli VC firm Glilot Capital raises $500m, surpasses $1b in AUM

Glilot Capital has secured US$500 million from financial institutions in the US, Europe, and Israel, raising its total assets under management to over US$1 billion.

The venture capital firm, founded in 2011 and based in Israel, will allocate the new funds between its early-stage Glilot Seed and later-stage Glilot Plus investment vehicles.

Glilot focuses on sectors including cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and AI.

The firm has reported 22 portfolio exits, including companies acquired by Palo Alto Networks and Rapyd.

Its portfolio includes ScaleOps, a financial operations startup that recently raised US$58 million, and Noma, an AI security company that raised US$100 million in series B funding earlier this year.

Glilot has also appointed Rinat Remler as its fifth partner, who will focus on strengthening portfolio support and helping founders scale internationally.
