Elron Ventures has appointed Yaniv Shnieder as its new CEO, a decision announced by the company.

Shnieder, who previously served as General Manager and Chief Technology Officer of Rafael’s Tel Aviv R&D Center, will lead the firm as it shifts its focus to early growth investments in the deep-tech and defense-tech sectors.

Shnieder has extensive experience in technology management.

He established and directed Rafael’s Tel Aviv R&D Center, which employs around 250 staff in Israel.

He joined Elron as CTO in 2023, where he has been involved in the company’s investment activities and assisting portfolio companies in scaling their operations.
