Israeli tech startups hit record $9.1b in M&A deals
Israeli tech startups are set for a record year in mergers and acquisitions, with US$9.1 billion in deals in the first three quarters of the year, says Vintage Investment Partners.
The industry is expected to reach US$10 billion in tech M&A by year-end, surpassing the previous peak of US$8.6 billion in 2021.
This growth persists despite ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.
Cybersecurity has been a major driver, contributing to about 30% of the transactions over the past year, according to Asaf Horesh, managing partner at Vintage Investment Partners.
