Israeli startups to get $6.25m grants under incubator program
The Israel Innovation Authority has announced plans to establish up to three new technological incubators aimed at supporting high-risk, early-stage technology ventures.
The initiative, revealed on July 20, 2025, seeks to increase investment in sectors such as semiconductors, advanced robotics, and bio-convergence.
Each incubator will receive up to NIS 40 million (US$11.9 million) over five years to cover management costs, central laboratories, and startup funding.
Companies within the incubators may qualify for state grants totaling up to NIS 21 million (US$6.25 million) to aid their development.
Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority, said that the program aims to help maintain Israel’s global leadership in innovation.
The incubators will support startups from inception, including research spinouts from universities. They will guide these startups through early funding rounds.
Applicants for the incubator program must secure at least NIS 120 million (US35.7 million) in funding to operate the incubators and invest in startups.
Proposals will be evaluated based on financial stability, managerial experience, investor partnerships, and strategies to attract promising projects.
