Israeli satcom startup Commcrete nets $29m for rescue tech
Commcrete, an Israeli startup developing satellite communication systems, has raised US$29 million across seed and series A rounds.
The series A round of US$21 million was led by Greenfield Partners, with Redseed Ventures and existing investors joining.
Early investors include Mobileye founder Amnon Shashua, who contributed via the Q Fund.
Commcrete develops handheld and vehicle-mounted satellite communication devices for soldiers, first responders, and security agencies.
Founded by Israeli defense tech veterans, Commcrete employs 40 staff and has deployed its tech in disaster zones and conflicts.
