Israeli hotel tech startup Duve nets $60m series B

Duve, an Israel-based guest management software provider for hotels, has raised US$60 million in a series B round led by Susquehanna Growth Equity, with participation from XT Venture Capital and others.

The new funding brings Duve’s total capital raised to US$85 million.

The company plans to use the funds to expand internationally, with new offices in the UK, Germany, Thailand, and another Asian location, and to develop AI infrastructure tailored for the hotel sector.

Duve’s platform streamlines hotel operations by unifying guest communications, check-in, and other services into a single interface.

The company serves over one million guests per month across 1,000 hotel brands in more than 70 countries.

Its customers include hotel groups such as Accor, Leonardo Hotels, and OYO.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

Duve’s US$60 million Series B bets on AI despite fierce competition from Property Management System (PMS) vendors adding native guest experience tools

  • Duve pitches one interface for guest messages and check-in. PMS providers such as Mews, Apaleo (cloud-based hotel operating systems), plus Oracle’s Opera (OPERA PMS) already integrate with it 1 and now bundle guest tools.
  • An AI push seeks separation from rivals. The Series A announcement shared no revenue or retention data 2, so product-market fit remains unclear for heavy research and development (R&D) while PMS vendors press on its core pitch.
  • A network of 120 plus partners spans PMSs, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and digital key providers (companies enabling smartphone room access) 2. Each change on a partner system needs maintenance, which can pull engineers from AI work or expansion.

Payment processors and digital lock vendors can tap Duve’s expansion with localized integrations

  • Planned offices in the UK, Germany, and Thailand will need local payment processing beyond global processors. Adyen, Stripe, and Payoneer already integrate with Duve 1.
  • Digital key providers such as Assa Abloy, Salto, and Igloohome 1 make hotel smart locks. They can act as implementation partners in new regions. Bundled hardware software packages cut go to market work and deepen vendor ties.
  • Tours and attractions platforms such as Bokun and Rezdy 1, booking systems for local activities, can seek revenue sharing in new markets. Duve promotes upsell tools to hoteliers, which can route commissions on local experiences through the platform.
