Accumulator, an equity fund founded by Israeli entrepreneur Dave Waiser, has secured US$46 million in its latest funding round.

This brings the company’s valuation to US$140 million.

The firm addresses challenges faced by tech startup founders dealing with illiquid equity holdings.

Accumulator offers a platform for pooling founders’ equity into investment funds centered on private tech companies.

Since its inception, the company has launched three funds with over US$60 million in assets under management.

Notable contributors to the latest funding include Filip Dames, co-founder of Zalando, and Avishai Abrahami, co-founder of Wix.
