Israeli cybersecurity startup Zeroport raises $10m funding
Zeroport, an Israeli cybersecurity startup based in Herzliya, has raised US$10 million in a seed funding round led by Lool Ventures, with participation from Clarim Ventures, CyberFuture, and Fusion Fund.
The company has developed a remote access solution that does not rely on IP-based communication, aiming to reduce attack surfaces associated with traditional VPNs.
Zeroport’s platform uses hardware to create a physical, non-IP bridge at network boundaries, limiting inbound data to human interaction signals and outbound flows to display-only pixel streams.
This design prevents malware from entering and sensitive data from leaving networks.
Founded in mid-2024 by CEO Joseph Gertz and CTO Lavi Friedman, the latter an alumnus of Israel’s IDF Unit 81, the company aims to address vulnerabilities exposed by recent cybersecurity breaches, including the CISA breach.
The funding supports Zeroport’s efforts to improve remote access security with its hardware-based approach.
