Israeli cybersecurity firm Tenzai secures $75m seed round

Tenzai, an Israeli cybersecurity startup founded in May 2025 by former Guardicore executives, has raised US$75 million in a seed round led by Battery Ventures, Greylock Partners, and Lux Capital.

The company is developing an AI platform that simulates a hacker to detect vulnerabilities in organizational systems before they are exploited.

Tenzai aims to offer continuous, software-based penetration testing as an alternative to traditional, human-driven security assessments.

The global penetration testing market is valued at about US$8 billion and is currently dominated by firms that rely on human experts.

Tenzai plans to launch its product early next year and is already working with several global companies.
