Israeli cyber startup Aryon Security bags $9m seed funding
Aryon Security, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has emerged from stealth mode with a US$9 million seed funding round led by Viola Ventures and Blumberg Capital.
Industry figures like Shlomo Kramer, Maty Siman, and Rubi Aronashvili also participated.
The company is led by CEO Ron Arbel, CTO Ariel Litmanovich, and VP of R&D Yair Ladizhensky, all former members of Israel’s elite Israel Defense Forces (IDF) unit, Matzov.
Their experience securing Israel’s national cloud infrastructure and involvement in Project Nimbus shape Aryon’s cloud security approach.
Aryon’s Cloud Security Enforcement Platform aims to shift cloud security from reactive to preventive. It addresses risks like misconfigurations, which account for 99% of cloud security breaches, according to Gartner.
The platform integrates with existing infrastructures, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), allowing security teams to enforce policies proactively.
Aryon enters the growing cloud security market, targeting vulnerabilities in an increasingly digital world.
