Spines, an Israeli startup focused on book publishing, has completed a US$16 million series A funding round.

Zeev Ventures led the investment, alongside Aleph, M-Fund, LionTree, and several angel investors, raising total backing to US$22.5 million.

The Spines platform uses AI to streamline book production, including editing, proofreading, and design.

The technology reduces publication time from six to 18 months to under three weeks, cutting costs by over 50%.
