Israeli blockchain security firm raises $50m series B
Blockaid, a blockchain security platform, has raised US$50 million in a series B funding round led by Ribbit Capital.
Existing investors, including Variant and Cyberstarts, also contributed, bringing the company’s total capital raised to US$83 million after a US$27 million series A round in October 2023.
Founded in 2022 by Ido Ben-Natan and Raz Niv, Blockaid aims to secure blockchain transactions by analyzing and mitigating risks.
The company reports that it has scanned over 2.4 billion transactions in the past year, protecting assets valued at more than US$101 billion.
