Israeli B2B startup Coho AI shuts down
Tel Aviv-based startup Coho AI has shut down operations after nearly four years in business. Founded by Ariel Maislos, Itamar Falcon, and Michael Ehrlich, the company struggled to generate significant revenue despite raising US$8.5 million in seed funding in 2022.
Coho AI aimed to serve B2B SaaS companies with tools for analyzing customer behavior and identifying monetization opportunities.
However, it faced challenges in differentiating itself in a competitive analytics market dominated by established players.
As part of its closure, Coho AI reached an agreement with Israeli marketing startup Yotpo. Yotpo will absorb several of Coho’s employees and cover some shutdown-related costs.
The company is also reportedly exploring the sale of its intellectual property.
