Israeli AI hematology startup raises additional $10m series D
Scopio Labs has raised an additional US$10 million from Viola Growth in its series D funding round, increasing the total funding to US$52 million.
The funds will support the development of its Complete Blood Morphology (CBM) analyzer, an AI-powered system designed to automate the analysis of peripheral blood smears.
The CBM analyzer aims to address challenges in hematology diagnostics by automating a traditionally manual process that is time-consuming and dependent on skilled personnel.
However, the CBM system is still under development and has not yet received approval for in vitro diagnostic use.
The company plans to showcase the analyzer at the ADLM 2025 Annual Conference in Chicago later this month.
