Israeli agrotech Fermata raises $10m for pest detection
Fermata, an Israeli agrotech company founded in 2020, has raised US$10 million in a Series A funding round led by Raw Ventures.
The company will use the funds to improve its platform, Croptimus, which detects crop pests and diseases early using cameras and sensors.
This helps monitor crops and analyze field conditions in real time for early threat detection.
Croptimus aims to reduce crop losses by up to 30% and minimize pesticide use by targeting affected areas.
It integrates with existing technologies to offer predictive insights and enhanced field management.
