Israeli agritech startup I-EcoGuard secures $870k
I-EcoGuard, a startup in agricultural technology based in Baka el-Garbiya, Israel, has secured US$870,000 in funding, including a US$350,000 pre-seed investment last month.
Support comes from the Israel Innovation Authority, Al-Qasemi, and Ibtkar Basecamp.
The funds are allocated for research, field trials across diverse climates, and market preparation.
Founded in 2024 by Mahmud Diab, the company aims to improve crop yields by addressing temperature extremes.
The greenhouse covers employ nanotechnology to control temperatures autonomously.
