Israel’s Ministry of Justice has introduced a “Regulatory Sandbox” program to foster innovation by allowing companies to test technologies under adjusted regulatory conditions.

This initiative aims to address bureaucratic challenges that deter startups from operating in Israel, enabling cost-efficient and locally overseen technological advancements.

The sandbox provides a controlled environment for real-time experimentation, bridging the gap between regulation and rapidly evolving technologies.

Priority industries for regulatory flexibility include alternative food production, autonomous vehicles, and AI-driven traffic systems.
