Israel launches $61m plan to boost high-tech, deeptech
Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry has announced a nationwide initiative to improve infrastructure in the hi-tech and deeptech sectors.
The plan includes 13 projects with a total investment of 220 million shekels (approximately US$61 million).
The initiative will focus on developing facilities such as wet chemical and biological laboratories, food tech centers, robotic and modular production systems, drone facilities, AI materials laboratories, and technologies related to healthcare.
The program aims to support emerging companies and create new jobs within these sectors.
