Intel plans to share technical details about its upcoming Panther Lake laptop chip on October 9, 2025, according to sources briefed on the matter.

Panther Lake is Intel’s first chip built entirely on its 18A manufacturing process and is expected in early 2026.

The company recently showed analysts and journalists its Arizona factories, including Fab 52, where the chips will be made.

Intel redesigned the AI engine and processor cores for better performance and energy efficiency.

The chip aims to help Intel regain market share from AMD after recent manufacturing challenges and a Q2 loss of US$2.9 billion.
