Intel’s cost-saving measures have reached its Israeli offices.

This has resulted in the discontinuation of complimentary beverages, including coffee and tea, in office kitchenettes by October 27, 2024.

This change comes as part of Intel’s financial restructuring, announced in August. The restructuring involves reducing its workforce by 15,000 employees, impacting over 15% of its global staff.

Israeli employees are among those affected, with layoffs commencing this week.

Managers will meet with employees chosen for redundancy to issue termination notices.
