US insurtech firm Accelerant raises $724m in IPO

Accelerant Holdings raised US$724 million in its initial public offering (IPO) in the US.

The company priced shares at US$21, exceeding the marketed range of US$18 to US$20, and sold 34.5 million shares.

This offering gives Accelerant a market valuation of about US$4.7 billion based on outstanding shares.

The IPO was heavily oversubscribed, with demand exceeding available shares by more than 20 times.

Of the total shares sold, 20.3 million were offered by the company, while 14.2 million were sold by investors, an increase from the initially planned 8.7 million.

Founded in 2018, Accelerant links insurance underwriters with capital partners through a data-driven platform.

Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bank of Montreal, and Royal Bank of Canada led the offering.

Accelerant’s shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ARX on July 24, 2025.
