Former Infosys CEO’s startup raises $32m in seed funding
Former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka said on June 24 that Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise AI startup based in Palo Alto, California, raised US$32 million in seed funding led by Mayfield a day after its launch.
Aramco Ventures, the venture arm of Saudi Aramco, also joined the round, and entrepreneur Jerry Yang joined its board.
Sikka said Hang Ten helps large companies turn AI adoption into measurable business outcomes.
The company says it builds and runs software for finance, human resources, and product development using an AI-native delivery model rather than traditional enterprise software implementation.
Sikka said Hang Ten is already working with enterprises including healthcare company Fresenius and energy technology firm Siemens Energy.
A separate launch report listed Fresenius and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy among the startup’s early customers.
The startup is Sikka’s latest enterprise AI venture after Vianai Systems, which launched in 2019 as a human-centered AI platform and products company.
Hang Ten is more of a services startup, while Aramco Ventures says it backs digital and industrial technologies that can add value to operations.
