Indosat, F5 partner on AI suite for Asian businesses
Indonesia-based telecom company Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Seattle-based application delivery and security firm F5 announced a partnership on October 9 to launch the Indosat Intelligence Suite for businesses across Asia.
The companies said the platform combines AI models and infrastructure in one interface, reducing the need for businesses to build their own infrastructure and offering governance and local hosting options.
Indosat said the suite includes more than 300 open and closed models.
F5 provides BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes for tenant isolation and container security, along with AI security features. Separately, F5 markets its AI Gateway to govern and secure enterprise AI.
The suite builds on Indosat’s AI infrastructure in Indonesia, alongside its broader sovereign AI push, which Nvidia described in coverage of Indonesia’s AI Center of Excellence.
Local processing is available through Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted tiers.
This may help companies meet Indonesian rules that require certain electronic system operators to store data in the country. Policies govern routing to global models.
