Indonesian IoT DyCodeX founder denies role in eFishery fraud case
Andri Yadi, founder of Indonesia-based DycodeX, has responded to being named in an ongoing fraud investigation involving eFishery.
eFishery, an aquaculture startup, is under police investigation, with CEO Gibran Huzaifah, former VP of finance Angga Hadrian Raditya, and VP of AIoT Andri Yadi detained over alleged investment fund embezzlement; Gibran was detained since July 31, 2025.
Andri Yadi said he was not a director at eFishery, but served as vice president overseeing AIoT product development after DycodeX’s acquisition process began in 2022 and was completed in December 2023.
He said his responsibilities were limited to technology and product development, not financial operations or investment decisions.
According to Yadi, the acquisition of DycodeX by eFishery was restructured from a purchase agreement into a service agreement, and he had no involvement in eFishery’s internal funding sources or payment approvals.
The investigation is ongoing, and no court verdict has been issued.
