Bang Jamin, an Indonesia-based insurtech platform, has raised US$4 million in a pre-series A round led by Braxton Capital and SBI Ven Capital, with participation from BNI Ventures and BRI Ventures.

Founded in 2023, Bang Jamin offers a digital platform that helps businesses distribute insurance products and streamline underwriting and claims.

The company says it has issued over 60 million policies and partnered with more than 30 insurers since launch.

Bang Jamin plans to use the funds to expand its technology, grow its product lines, and increase its reach in underserved regions through B2B partnerships.

CEO Indra Baruna previously led major Indonesian insurers including Astra’s Garda Oto and Adira Insurance, while COO Maruly Sinaga is the former CEO of Aon and Willis Reinsurance Indonesia.
