Nexmedis, an AI-powered health information systems provider in Indonesia, has secured funding co-led by East Ventures and Forge Ventures. The amount of funding has not been disclosed.

Founded in 2023, Nexmedis integrates AI into healthcare processes.

Its platform offers Clinical Decision Support tools to assist healthcare professionals with diagnostic recommendations and accurate documentation for insurance claims.

Since its launch, Nexmedis has partnered with over 400 healthcare facilities and gained recognition through Indonesia’s Ministry of Health Regulatory Sandbox program.

It has also collaborated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Gadjah Mada University.

The new funding will support Nexmedis’ expansion into hospitals throughout Indonesia and enhance its AI-driven solutions to address issues in the healthcare system.
