Indonesia secures $1.98b in bond auction

Indonesia raised 33 trillion rupiah (US$1.98 billion) from its latest bond auction, exceeding the initial target of 27 trillion rupiah (US$1.62 billion), based on finance ministry data released on September 24.

Total bids reached 98.5 trillion rupiah (US$5.92 billion), up from 79.6 trillion (US$4.78 billion) at the previous auction on September 9.

The exchange rate used was US$1 to 16,660 rupiah.
