Platform X has paid an administrative fine of nearly 80 million rupiah (US$4,808.78) for delayed compliance with content moderation rules related to pornography in Indonesia.

Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital said the payment was made on December 12, 2025, following a third warning, and further discussions with the platform.

Platform X formally appointed a representative to handle the payment process, according to ministry officials.

The fine was processed through official channels and transferred to the state treasury managed by the Ministry of Finance.

Indonesian authorities said enforcement of digital regulations is aimed at protecting the public from harmful online content.
