Indonesia is nearing an agreement with Apple Inc. to lift the ban on iPhone 16 sales, according to Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani.

The ban, implemented in October, was due to Apple’s failure to comply with local manufacturing regulations.

Roeslani expressed hope for a resolution, indicating it could be achieved within one to two weeks.

Discussions are focusing on Apple’s investment plan, which aims to meet local content requirements for smartphones and tablets.

If an agreement is finalized, it could enable iPhone 16 sales in Indonesia.
