Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said on June 8 it signed a multiyear transformation and managed services agreement with Canada Life to modernize the insurer’s IT infrastructure across its European businesses.

TCS said it would use its AI and digital capabilities to modernize and manage Canada Life’s data centers, core infrastructure, end-user computing, and software lifecycle management.

The project aims to improve operational resilience, increase automation, and enhance customer experience across the insurer’s operations in the UK, Germany, Ireland, and the Isle of Man.

Canada Life operates in Ireland through Irish Life, extending the deal across European insurance and wealth markets.

The contract is part of a broader technology overhaul at Canada Life, which has described a hybrid-cloud strategy spanning five data centers and public cloud providers.
