India’s Startup Policy Forum (SPF) has signed an MoU with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) to collaborate on data-driven policy research for India’s startup ecosystem.

Announced on Feb. 27, this partnership aims to strengthen ties between academia and industry, focusing on startup financing and innovation.

The collaboration will support evidence-based policymaking and promote a vibrant startup environment.

SPF plans to engage with policymakers and startups to encourage regulatory frameworks that benefit the sector.

The initiative will also include policy discussions, research workshops, and roundtables to develop strategies that support Indian startups and entrepreneurs.
