🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

InCred IPO timing aligns with Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector revival as valuation metrics remain undisclosed

  • InCred Holdings filed for an IPO then chose a confidential Draft Red Herring Prospectus in the ₹3,000–4,000 crore range after revenue rose 47% to ₹1,871.9 crore in FY2025 1,2. The pre-filing keeps asset quality ratios (loan performance), net interest margins (lending profitability), and capital adequacy (regulatory buffers) private 1,2.
  • InCred Finance had assets under management of ₹12,585 crore in FY25 3. The IPO sits alongside Tata Capital (the financial services arm of Tata Group) and Avanse Financial Services (an education-focused lender) in a busier NBFC queue 4.

Technology vendors and investors can target the expanding NBFC IPO pipeline across lending infrastructure

  • Pipelines include InCred and Tata Capital (Tata Group’s financial services company) 5. Avanse Financial Services is an education-focused lender 5. Aye Finance is a lender to micro and small businesses 5. Kissht is a consumer lending platform 5. Demand spans Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering systems, underwriting platforms, and loan management software 5.
  • Private equity and growth investors can join pre-IPO placements 1. InCred seeks ₹300 crore before listing and InCred Money, its wealth management arm, raised ₹250 crore from Ranjan Pai (a prominent Indian investor and healthcare-education entrepreneur) in September 2025 1. Banking and finance leads India’s IPO queue with ₹50,394 crore across 14 issuers 4. That should keep demand high for capital markets advisory, compliance services, and digital transformation partners through 2025 to 2026 4.
