Bookmybai, an Indian platform linking families in the country and beyond to domestic help, has raised around US$239,000 (2 crores rupee) in a pre-series A compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures.

Established in 2016, Bookmybai maintains a database of over 200,000 registered housemaids.

The funding will support expanding the platform’s footprint and recruiting an additional 50,000 housemaids. This investment responds to increasing demand for domestic help services, especially in major metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore.

The domestic help industry in India, valued at US$8 billion, is growing at a 20% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).
