India's BluSmart to launch EV ride-hailing service in Mumbai

BluSmart, an electric vehicle (EV) ride-hailing service provider, will launch operations in Mumbai on January 1, 2024.

Initially, the service will be available exclusively to a limited, invite-only group of users.

The company currently offers ride-hailing services and EV charging infrastructure.

It uses a fleet of 8,500 EVs and reports 21 million completed rides.
