Billion Electric Mobility, an Indian e-Mobility-as-a-Service platform, has appointed Sanjeev Kulkarni as its new chief executive officer.

Kulkarni, who previously served as the company’s chief operating officer, will lead efforts to expand the business and deploy commercial electric vehicle (EV) solutions.

Kulkarni has over three decades of experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Before joining Billion Electric Mobility in 2023, he was CEO of Kalyani Powertrain Limited from April 2021 to September 2022.

Founded in 2021 and based in Vadodara, Gujarat, Billion Electric Mobility specializes in electric mobility solutions for trucks and buses.
