Gruhas, an investment firm co-founded by Nikhil Kamath, has partnered with Bengaluru-based Brigade Group to launch a new fund focused on proptech and sustainability.

The Earth Fund, amounting to 300 crore rupees (US$34.6 million), is created under Zoiros Projects Private Limited and includes an 200 crore rupees (US$23 million) SEBI-registered Category II alternative investment fund and an additional 100 crore rupees (US$11.5 million) green-shoe option.

The fund will back 10-15 startups in real estate tech, construction tech, clean tech, and climate tech, investing US$1 million to US$2 million in market-ready startups looking to scale.

Startups funded by the Earth Fund will receive mentorship from Brigade Group, which has previously supported over 80 startups through its REAP accelerator.
