Indian travel tech firm Yatra appoints new interim CFO

Yatra has appointed Anuj Kumar Sethi as its interim chief financial officer (CFO) after Rohan Mittal’s resignation, effective April 11. M

Mittal, who served as the group CFO for nearly three years, left to explore new opportunities. During his tenure, he oversaw significant events like Yatra’s India IPO in September 2023 and a private funding round in late 2022.

Sethi, who has been with Yatra for over a decade, previously served as the company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. He has also held the CFO position before and was associated with Airfreight Ltd.

The leadership change comes as Yatra prepares to announce its Q4 FY25 financial results.

In Q3 FY25, Yatra reported a consolidated profit after tax of 10 crore rupee (US$6.97 million), up from 1.05 crore rupee (US$731,630) in the same quarter last year.

🧠 Food for thought

I don’t have sufficient credible information from the research findings to provide reliable insights about Yatra’s CFO transition or the company’s business context. The search results primarily contain unrelated political content about “yatras” (political journeys) in India, not about Yatra Online the company.

Without access to factual information about Yatra’s business operations, financial performance trends, management changes, or industry position, I cannot provide insights that would meet professional journalistic standards for accuracy and credibility.

For a proper analysis, I would need relevant information about Yatra’s recent business performance, the significance of the CFO transition, industry trends in the Indian OTA market, or comparative data with competitors like MakeMyTrip, EaseMyTrip, and ixigo.
