Indian retailer firm bags $40m series E
Purple Style Labs, the parent company of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, has raised US$40 million in its Series E funding round. The round comprised 40% primary infusion and 60% secondary share sale.
Leading the investment were SageOne Flagship Growth OE Fund, Alchemy Long Term Ventures Fund, Minerva Ventures Fund, and Bajaj Holdings and Investment.
Founded in 2015 by Abhishek Agarwal, Purple Style Labs is a retailer for luxury designer brands. The company manages over 15 Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio experience centers across India and one in London.
It also supports emerging designer brands with sales, marketing, and technical assistance.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence both domestically and internationally. Target cities include New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, Mumbai, and Delhi. There are also plans to reach Tier II markets in India.
