Indian PE firm Kedaara Capital raises $300m continuation fund
Kedaara Capital, a private equity firm based in Mumbai, has closed its first continuation fund at US$300 million, according to people familiar with the matter.
The firm, which manages over US$6 billion in assets, is transferring partial stakes in Lenskart Solutions and Care Health Insurance to the new vehicle, the people said.
The fund was priced above the net asset value of the previous fund holding these companies.
Continuation funds allow private equity firms to move assets from an existing fund to a new one, giving investors the option to roll over or cash out.
